I edited some information but it doesn't seem to be saved.

Make sure you click the « Save » button below the relevant form (each section — organization, personal information, preferences — has its own button).

Non-member: only the sections present in your profile have a "Save" button (e.g., personal information, preferences); the sections related to the organization do not appear.
