Why do I have to pay for the Electronic Lease?

Mandatory Fees

CORPIQ’s Electronic Lease is in conformity with the one imposed by the Tribunal administratif du logement. Certain fees are required to validate the authenticity of the product. For example, fees are charged by Publications du Québec since this is the official lease ($1.99 per lease) and copyrights are collected by the Government of Québec. The Notarius electronic signature, service fees (technical support and online publishing), as well as transaction fees (credit cards and financial fees) are also included in the total price.

Integrated system fees

The fees for the integrated system (platform fees, automatic transfer of information from the Rental Application to the Electronic Lease) and CORPIQ’s exclusive documents (annexes and Building regulations) are also included in the total amount of $7.49. However, CORPIQ members do not have to pay the integrated system fees.
