What Is the Impact of a Credit Check?

Modified on Fri, 18 Jun, 2021 at 1:29 PM

The impact of a credit check on your applicant’s score is real, but there is no need to worry: the consequences are minimal.

When you view a candidate’s credit report, our data provider stores the information for 18 months. This means that the applicant and other organizations that have consulted the applicant’s credit file will see the words “PROPRIOENQUÊTE” in the “previous applications” list. This access to the file temporarily penalizes the applicant’s score, but to a lesser extent.
