What Does Unavailable SIN Mean?

Modified on Fri, 18 Jun 2021 at 01:33 PM

Occasionally, a message indicating “SIN unavailable” may appear in the “Identification” category of the credit report. This means that the SIN is not on your applicant’s credit file and the system cannot use it to compare results. The system will then use the other information available, such as your applicant’s name, address, and date of birth.

NAS indisponible

The words “SIN unavailable” appear at the beginning of the report
in the mismatch category
