Why is the content in my proof report not displaying properly?

Common reasons for HTML rendering in the proof report

When creating an activity in Pronotif, the final display of your message in the proof report may differ from what you see in the preview. This usually happens due to the use of complex formatting in your message content.

Here are the most common causes:

  • Text copied from tables or richly formatted documents (e.g., Word, Excel).

  • Advanced formatting styles, such as custom fonts, colors, alignments, or indents.

  • HTML elements that do not integrate well with the simplified proof report layout.

Recommended best practices

To ensure your message appears correctly in the proof report:

  1. Always paste plain text only (without formatting).

  2. Avoid using tables, images, or complex layouts.

  3. Use a simple text editor (like Notepad) to clean your content before pasting it into Pronotif.

Why is this limitation in place?

The proof report is generated in a standardized and secure format to ensure legal validity. If the formatting is too complex, the system will automatically convert your message into raw HTML, which can affect its appearance.
